Sign-in

Local administrator, optional company login, and API access.

Every AMI that uses this wizard requires a local administrator — username (default admin) and a password of at least 12 characters. Keep that account even if you turn on company login; it is the break-glass path.

Local admin is required. OIDC and LDAP are optional.

Company login (optional)

You can add OpenID Connect (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Auth0, Keycloak, and similar) or LDAP / Active Directory. The wizard has Test connection and Test sign-in so you can verify before you finish.

  • For OIDC, use the issuer base URL, not the discovery document path. The redirect URI is https://<this-host>/login/oidc/callback.
  • Signing into the appliance with LDAP is not the same product as the LDAP Server AMI, which hosts a directory for other systems to use.

After setup

Sign in with the local admin you created, or with company login if you enabled it.

Speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and OCR APIs use the same local username and password (HTTP Basic). Notebook and VPN use the browser session after you sign in.

Change these settings later under admin.
